IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO MAKE ME HAPPY

I dreamt that I was at a party with my social media friends, followers, and family. Everyone ignored me, and they talked about me, to my family, behind my back. I shouted out, "We should order pizza!", and woke myself up. I woke up with a migraine, but I had a pizza in the freezer, and migraine meds. So, I took the meds for the migraine, and  popped the pizza in the oven. The migraine meds worked, about the same time the pizza was done. It was a personal pan, gluten free pizza, and it was delicious. Now, I'm wondering - is this really all it takes to make me happy? That I am happy to discover the worst part of my life - is just a bad dream , the ailments I have - are quickly relieved with effective medication, that I have with me.  Then there's the pizza, well that was just a bonus, and I really am happy that it was gluten free, because I like pizza, and gluten makes me sick enough to put me in the hospital. Side note: hospitals don't serve gluten free pizza, and I am not in the hospital, and so, that makes me extra happy.😊#guiltypleasureglutenfree

That's life....

"SHIPROCK" AKA "THE ROSE PAUSON HOUSE"
Rose wanted something that she could afford, and F.L. Wright wanted what he had envisioned; nevertheless, both wanted a showplace, eventually. Rose was busy, in San Francisco, and rented the finished masterpiece to tenants, who disillusioned both Rose & Frank, when the place went up in flames. The renters left the windows open (and probably a door for a cross draft) while a fire was still going, in the fireplace.  The story is heartbreaking πŸ’”.  A live piece of coal, from a nearby fireplace, sent the delicate hand made curtains ablaze. I can only imagine, but it could have been a Phoenix monsoon that blew through that house, on that day. Below, there are correspondence letters between the two. Keep in mind, that Rose Pauson was a painter, and she was sold on Wright's vision of the house that he was designing, which was a ship. Also, Rose's sister Gertrude Pauson was a landscape designer, and she would be living at the residence, as well. They lived there for one season, because the house was destroyed by that fire.  It's ironic that the only thing left is the chimney. πŸ˜’ The second picture, is a remnant of the Rose Pauson House chimney. It's now a landmark, and it's still called "Shiprock".

The words, written in those letters, are so colorful - that I wish someone would write them into a screenplay, and make it into a movie. There was a play performed at Scottsdale College  (my old haunt). (Celebrities, and other notable alumni, are listed here): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Scottsdale_Community_College_alumni You can read more about the play HERE:  https://www.luxepros.com/lifestyle/march-modness:-discussing-modern-phoenix-week-rachel-simmons  AND HERE:  https://scottsdale.com/events/view/eb/43037664814  Also, the one act play was based on a book by: Allan Wright Green, and that book should be a good read. May Rose Pauson, her sister Gertrude, and Frank Lloyd Wright, all respectfully rest in peace. Rose Pauson is Allan Wright Green's Great Aunt, and there are more letters, like those 2, in the book. You can get the book: "Building the Pauson House: The Letters of Frank Lloyd Wright and Rose Pauson", by Allan Wright Green, at Amazon.

Poetry Doesn't Always Rhyme

AN EXAMPLE OF A RHYMING POEM
Example of free verse poetry: Although I am without, without, I'm not without, within, and if I were without, within, I'd be without, without a doubt.  Oh, sweet inspiration, where are you?  Desperately, I await your breath of life.  Preoccupation, leave me now, I have no time to while away my day, with pettiness and daydreams.  They only leave me tired, and longing for the light of day to cease to be, as if to beg for night to hurry and come soon.  Sweet inspiration where are you, in waking hours?  I pray you come here quickly now, to me.  So I may be the lucky one, and fortunate to see, inspiration come to life - in my life.  For heaven's sake, and mine, sweet inspiration come in any form, at any time, but please, please, make it soon.  More about poetry-here: https://youtu.be/y3v_ldsOI-A  here: https://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-of-free-verse-poems.html, here> http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Free_Verse, and here> https://www.poetryfoundation.org/learn/glossary-terms/rhyme

Revitalize your life - have a dinner party!

Think about a theme, like a dinner party, invite a few friends, or family members, and enjoy the evening - together.  Start with a few people, and get into the swing of it, by hosting a dinner party, a birthday party, or try a painting party.  Soon, you'll be looking forward to planning the next get-together, or party.  When you've made it to where you want to be, and have accomplished your goal, then that's a great feeling.  I know that's how it is, with me, and in my younger days, I've put together many different types of parties.  Parties, can be casual, formal, plus one, or your guests can bring along guests, and you can widen your social circle.  If I can do it, then you can, too.  Here are a few books that may inspire you:  DINNER PARTY IDEAS AMAZON LINK LANDING PAGE  ⬅️⬅️

You don't need a reason to have a party.

In my opinion, some books are more interesting, than movies.

Recently, I watched the movie "Communion", starring Christopher Walken.  I had already read the book, "Communion", by Whitley Strieber. It was a great read, and I would recommend this book to any paranormal fan.   It's well written, and I could imagine the characters in this book, vividly. The book, and the movie, can be purchased at Amazon. Click on the image, to be transferred to that Amazon page.

If Things Aren't Perfect, Act Like They Are, Until They Are

Admitting that I'm a, painfully shy, homebody, was the first step that I had to take towards not being one.  It helps if I practice being around people that I don't know, and even if I get social anxiety, I can act like I don't have social anxiety.  It takes work, but I'm working on it.  I took a few improv classes taught by, professional actor, Charlie Holliday, in Rancho Cordova, California.  (Rest in peace Charlie. I'm very glad I got to spend time with you & Holly). Charlie, and his wife Holly, opened their home to me & my children. I learned so much, about so many gracious things- from both of them.  I will be forever grateful that Charlie & Holly were part of my life, during the most trying times of my life. Diet Change Helps With Allergic Asthma

For over 50 years, I've had to deal with allergic asthma, and diet plays a, tremendous, part in managing both allergies, and asthma. Also, having done the "Allergy Scratch Test", and receiving the allergy shots, has decreased the severity, and frequency of attacks.
